When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly request that you RSVP by June 15. We will unfortunately need to pester you otherwise because Disney requires a final headcount shortly thereafter. We apologize in advance for the potential follow up!

What is the suggested attire for the different events?

We understand the confusion! It's a theme park, so surely athleisure, right?! (Spoiler alert: wrong!) But it's also a wedding that is fairy-tale adjacent, so a ballgown, of course?! (Also wrong, but much closer to the mark!) Don't worry—we've got you covered.

  • Welcome Party: Semi-formal attire is requested, with appropriate accommodations for the inevitably steamy Florida weather.

Examples: For adult men, dress shirts (linen is ok if you'd like and rolled sleeves are expected!), dress pants, and optional ties or jackets. For ladies, we suggest semi-formal summer dresses. For all adults, we kindly ask that you avoid casual attire such as jeans, shorts, t-shirts, athletic wear, flip-flops, and theme park clothing.

For children, whatever keeps them comfortable is appropriate. We prioritize minimizing the likelihood of meltdowns above all else. Bonus points if an outfit is both adorable and tantrum-resistant, but there is absolutely no parenting judgment here. Camp Matthews (age 3½) will be wearing dress shorts and a short-sleeved button-down shirt without a tie or jacket because that may—or may not—make Kristen and Manny's evening slightly smoother than dressing him in a suit.
  • Wedding Ceremony and Reception: Elevated cocktail attire is requested.

Examples: For men, suits and ties. For women, floor-length or more formal shorter dresses ("elevated cocktail dresses"). For children, it will hopefully be easier to dress them similar to their grown ups for the ceremony and reception since weather should not be a significant factor - Camp Matthews will be in an adorable suit and bow tie that matches Manny - but same rules apply as Friday in that you should prioritize child cooperation in the early morning.

You do not need to worry too much about the weather for this event. The ceremony is very early in the morning and lasts only about 20 minutes. The reception is indoors and comfortably air-conditioned.
  • The Celebration Continues at EPCOT: If you join us at EPCOT after the reception, please head back to your room and change first! We encourage theme park attire, breathable fabrics, comfortable walking shoes, and, of course, Mickey and Minnie ears.
  • Farewell Brunch: Whether you're heading to the airport or one of the parks afterwards, feel free to dress for your next destination and make a seamless transition to the rest of your day.

Do I need a park ticket for the different events?

The answer is either "no" or "we will provide it", BUT this may be contingent upon you getting yourself to the right spot at the right time. Please see below for details.

  • Welcome Party: No park ticket is required AS LONG AS you arrive at the designated pickup location on time. Our transportation will pick up guests PROMPTLY at 6:15 PM from the main lobbies of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Guests who miss the pickup or arrive at EPCOT on their own will need to purchase an EPCOT park ticket in order to enter.
  • Wedding Ceremony: No park ticket is required. As our wedding ceremony will take place inside Disney's Animal Kingdom prior to park opening, all guests must arrive via transportation provided by the couple. Transportation to the ceremony will depart promptly at 4:30 AM from the main lobbies of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Guests will not be permitted to access the ceremony venue independently or through the main park entrance.
  • Reception: No park ticket is required.
  • The Celebration Continues at EPCOT: Yes, and we are happy to provide a park ticket for you. If you are joining us at EPCOT after the reception and do not otherwise have an EPCOT ticket for that day (e.g., because you are a passholder, etc.), please RSVP by June 15 and indicate in the RSVP that you will be joining us and would like a ticket. We will reach out to you for the necessary information to link the ticket to your Disney account.
  • Farewell Brunch: No park ticket is required.

How do I get to each event? Will the transportation wait for me? (Spoiler alert: NO)

  • Welcome Party: Transportation will be provided (and is required if you do not otherwise have an EPCOT park ticket for that day). Please arrive at the designated pickup location on time. Our transportation will pick up guests promptly at 6:15 PM from the main lobbies of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Guests who miss the pickup or arrive at EPCOT on their own will need to arrive at EPCOT independently and purchase an EPCOT park ticket in order to enter. Do not be that person. You will be annoyed, and we will make fun of you, not just that day but for years to come.
  • Wedding Ceremony: As our wedding ceremony will take place inside Disney's Animal Kingdom prior to park opening, all guests MUST arrive via transportation provided by the couple. Transportation to the ceremony will depart promptly at 4:30 AM from the main lobbies of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Guests will not be permitted to access the ceremony venue independently or through the main park entrance. If you miss the transportation, you miss the ceremony.
  • Reception: Transportation will be provided to the Promenade Ballroom in Disney's BoardWalk Inn from the ceremony. For guests who intentionally or unintentionally sleep through the early morning wedding ceremony, you may arrive at the reception venue independently; you may take an Uber/Lyft or drive a rental car and park at the reception.
  • The Celebration Continues at EPCOT: After the reception, transportation will be provided back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Independent transportation will not be provided from the hotels to EPCOT, but guests staying at a Disney Resort may use Disney's transportation options. From Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, there is a Disney bus to EPCOT, and, from Disney's Pop Century Resort, there is a skyliner to EPCOT.
  • Farewell Brunch: Independent transportation will not be provided for this event, but guests staying at a Disney Resort may use Disney's transportation options. From both Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Pop Century Resort, there is a Disney bus to Magic Kingdom and then a monorail from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You may also take an Uber/Lyft or drive a rental car and park at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Are children welcome at every event?

ABSOLUTELY! This is a child-friendly, family-focused celebration. Camp Matthews (3½ years old) will be at every event, and the weekend is designed for your full family's enjoyment. There may even be some special appearances by Mickey and his friends that we would hate for your children to miss!
